At the beginning of this year I stated "I have a feeling this year is going to be a game changer." At the time I was thinking about being a better blogger and really investing time and energy into this space. I was thinking how lucky and happy I was to have met Alex and finally feeling like I have an equal and partner to go with me through this crazy life. To be honest I was thinking how nothing but good things were headed my way and how ready I was to embrace them. This was going to be my year! Funny thing this life. 

This hasn't been the year I thought it was going to be. I continue to remind myself, however, that the year is far from over. Life isn't easy and yes, hardships seem to have befallen on me but Alex has been quick to remind me that it will be ok. I know it will. In the reality of life though, my problems are small and insignificant. Perspective.

Right now, I am soaking up time. Time I get to spend with friends and family and time to explore my options on what we want and how I can contribute to us getting there. I am looking forward to what lies ahead. The unknown and change can be a bit frightening but without it how would we grow?
