As for my 60 day challenge, I ate pretty damn healthy this week. We had our last bowling league game Monday night, went to Ballet on Tuesday, where I proceeded to get owned, Wednesday night was two hours of Ultimate Frisbee and last night was spent watching HIMYM with the doors open while the thunderstorm rolled through. All in all not too shabby of a week.

This weekend I am laying low, sort of. Besides the draft that Alex and I will be participating in for Fort Worth Spring League Ultimate, I might become an aunt! The due date was the 6th but like any Gallagher, we do things on our own time. Then again most babies due. Get it? Nudge, nudge (insert a face of shame and embarrassment). Something I am looking forward to that has nothing to do with this weekend, is the fact that I will be heading to Austin, Monday, for work. The best part, wait for it, I will be taking the train. Four hours to relax, listen to music and read the latest book I heard was terrifying. Amazing.

You know that song that says “everybody’s working towards the weekend”? Which I just googled and it’s actually “everybody’s working for the weekend”, same thing I guess. Anyways, I crave weekends, not like everyone else doesn't, but I really crave mine. To be able to relax, unwind, have some time (any amount of time) to be at peace and to let your days be dictated more by how you are feeling than a set schedule. That to me is blissful. This weekend will be just that. A little quality time with my dogs and Alex. Probably watching him do some woodworking while I read some books and keep the dogs entertained.
